NAMS III® Collection and Mediation

Further detail of our Collection & Mediation product suite can be found by downloading this comprehensive guide. (.pdf)

CMSI's NAMS III® Collector and Mediation is a mature product that has been in world-wide use by telephone companies and government agencies since 1988.  The collection application supports many protocols and can be configured in several ways depending on the requirements of the customer. The Mediation software supports many file formats and can be easily configured to automatically deliver all or only selected billing records to multiple platforms simultaneously. With competitive pricing and no volume based license fee NAMS III® is an affordable alternative to more expensive systems.

Using Open Source software with the high reliability of the Linux operating system and the economical Intel hardware platform, collection availability is near 100%. Several NAMS III® collection systems have been operational with no faults for over 900 days. Transport and distribution of the AMA/CDR is automated and supports many different formats and configurations. CMSI s Self Recovering Transfer comes standard with every collector.

Technical Highlights:

Automated file transfers to downstream systems utilize the NAMS Self Recovering FTP application which eases the work load on IT Professionals. Network outages that occur during regularly scheduled outages normally interrupt file transfers leaving incomplete files of downstream systems. The NAMS Self Recovering Transfer application will automatically re-transfer incomplete files when network connectivity has been restored. All CMSI collectors include extensive logging capabilities that aid the customer and CMSI support personnel by providing complex diagnostic capabilities.

CMSI s high level of support sets us apart from all of our competitors.
